UHLMAN BEING HELD ON A $150,000.00 BOND FOR INAPPROPRIATE ACTS INVOLVING JUVENILES
On February 3, 2025, it was reported to the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office of a deputy doing inappropriate acts involving juveniles. When speaking with the complainant, he stated that while at a party in Pine Prairie, with mostly juveniles present, the suspect (Joshua Paul Uhlman) was following other juveniles at the party and taking photographs of them urinating. The suspect is currently a full-time deputy with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's and a former police officer and detective with the Pine Prairie Police Department.
Further during the investigation, it was discovered that the suspect would make payments and provide alcohol to juveniles if they would allow him to take inappropriate photographs and / or provide oral sex. An arrest warrant was later issued for the apprehension and arrest of the suspect for multiple counts of Indecent Behavior with Juveniles.

Uhlman was released from the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office Jail into the custody of the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office Jail where he is being held on a $150,000.00 bond.
