TIS THE SEASON! SEARCH WARRANT EXECUTED!

Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:

 On the morning of December 7,2022, the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department's Narcotics Division, along with the Allen Parish Sheriff's Department Swat Team and the Louisiana Department of Probation and Parole, executed a search warrant at a residence located at 415 North Fontenot Street in Ville Platte. Narcotic Agents have been investigating the sale of illegal narcotics from this residence for a while.

Agents entered the residence and a different building on the property before daylight and detained three people without incident. Agents then searched the residence and found crack cocaine, cocaine and marijuana, along with several handguns and U S currency. Agents confiscated several vehicles, including four wheelers and a golf cart, which will be seized.

Possession with intent to distribute Crack Cocaine over 116 grams

Possession with intent to distribute Marijuana over 295 grams

Possession of Cocaine

Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Possession of a firearm in presence of CDS

Possession of CDS in presence of a minor

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Money derived from drug proceeds.
