THC Gummies Located!!

Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:

 

On the 13th of September, 2022- The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotic Unit, executed a search warrant on a residence located at 1871 Barbara Lane in the Reddell area. Upon Agents entering into the residence, three (3) subjects were detained without incident. Agents then conducted their search and located suspected illegal narcotics, and a large sum of U.S. currency. This led to the following arrest.

He was charged with: 

La RS 40:966.1-  Possession With Intent to Distribute Schedule I-   (MDMA Ecstasy)

La RS 40:967- Possession With Intent to Distribute Schedule II-  (Crack Cocaine)

Possession of CDS in Presence of a Minor

Violation of Drug Free Zone

Money derived from drug transactions


Also, on the 13th of September-  The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit, in conjunction with the Mamou Police Department, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle, on Point Street in Mamou. Agents made contact with the driver and at that time, during the interview, a probable cause search was conducted. This led to discovery of illegal narcotics, a firearm and a large amount of U.S. Currency. This led to the following action.

Possession of a firearm by a felon

On the 14th of September 2022 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Departments Narcotics unit, conducted a traffic stop on East Street in Mamou. Agents came into contact with the driver and two occupants. Agents conducted an interview and K-9 Diego was deployed. Diego indicated to the presence of narcotics and a search was done. Agents located illegal narcotics, US currency and a firearm.

This traffic stop then led to a search warrant located at 1298 Traffic Lane in the Pine Prairie area. Agents arrived at the residence and made entry. Agents then conducted their search and located a large amount of illegal narcotics and another firearm. This led to the following arrest.

Possession with intent to distribute THC Vape Pens over 10

Possession with intent to distribute THC Syrup

Possession of a firearm in presence of CDS 2 COUNTS

Possession with intent to distribute THC Syrup
