SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE CALL LEADS TO ARREST!
Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:
On the 30th of December 2020 The Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle in the industrial park area. Upon arrival deputies made contact with the driver and occupant. The deputies noticed a strong smell of marijuana coming from the car. The deputies conducted a search of the vehicle and located narcotics. This led to the following actions.

He was charged as follows
LA:RS: 40:1023 Possession of drug paraphernalia
LA:RS: 40:966C Possession of marijuana
LA:RS: 40:970 Possession of Promethazine
LA:RS: 40:967 Possession of Ritalin
LA:RS: 32:415 Driving under suspension
