  EVANGELINE PARISH DWI/DUI SATURATED PATROL TASK FORCE

                       AUGUST 23rd AND 24th, 2024

This is a public service announcement to inform the public that Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office will be conducting a DWI/DUI Saturated Patrol Task Force in Evangeline Parish on Friday, August, 23, and Saturday, August 24 between the hours of 08:00 pm to 04:00 am both nights. 
Louisiana statistics show that in 2023, 799 people died in fatal crashes directly related to impaired drivers.  The penalty is great for one convicted of Vehicular Homicide.  Please do not drink and drive.  Get a designated driver and everyone gets home safe.   Be responsible and keep Evangeline Parish out of any negative statistics.  May God bless you.
