PATROL UNITS MAKE ARRESTS!!

Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:

 On the 17th of April 2023 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department's Patrol Unit conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on US Hwy 167 N at Onyx Road for a traffic violation. Upon coming into contact with the driver and passenger, the deputy established probable cause and a search of the vehicle was completed. The deputy located illegal narcotics and the following action occurred.

He was charged with

Possession with intent to distribute Methamphetamine over 46 grams

Possession of a firearm by a felon

Possession of drug paraphernalia

 In the early morning hours of April 18th 2023 Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department's Patrol Unit, conducted another traffic stop, on Meridian Road off of US Hwy 167N. The deputy made contact with the occupants and noticed narcotics in plain view. This resulted in a search of the vehicle and the discovery of more illegal narcotics.

She was charged with

Possession with intent to distribute Methamphetamine over 9 grams

Possession of drug paraphernalia

She also had 3 outstanding warrants for not appearing in court

For prior violations.

Ville Platte, LA.

W/M Age 47

He was charged with

Possession of Methamphetamine

Possession of firearm in presence of CDS 2 COUNTS 

       ALL SUSPECTS ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
