Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:
On the 10th of November 2021 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Departments Criminal Patrol unit, conducted a traffic stop on main street. When agents approached the car, they could smell marijuana. The driver gave consent to search and the following action occurred.

On the 28th of November 2021 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Departments Criminal Patrol unit attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Beacon Road. The suspect fled but was captured. This led to the following actions.

On the 29th of November 2021 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Departments Narcotic Unit, executed a search warrant in Mamou. When Agents entered the residence they saw narcotics in plain view, upon completion of the search of the residence, the following action occurred.
