ARREST BRIEFING
On July 29, 2023, the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office received a call from the Cabot Corporation advised that an unknown male contacted them by phone text messaging indicating that there was a bomb located on the property. During the investigation, Detectives were able to determine that the message was sent by cell phone. Once learning the phone number of where the message originated, Detectives were able to prove that the phone number belongs to a Heath Morris Cintron of Eunice W/M DOB 06/09/1974.
Once the suspect was identified, Detectives learned that the suspect was previously employed with the Cabot Corporation but was terminated for sleeping while at work. As soon as Detectives learned that Cintron was the suspect for the bomb threat, an arrest warrant was issued for Communicating of False Information of Planned Arson. His bond was set at $15,000.00.
On November 16, 2023, Cintron was located by State Police in Rapides Parish and arrested for the warrant. He will soon be extradited back to Evangeline Parish and booked for the current warrant.
