~NAROTIC PRESS RELEASE~ ISSACK THOMAS

On August 2, 2024, Narcotic Officer while patrolling on La. 29, agents observed a vehicle negotiate a left turn at the intersection of Whiteville Road and Tate Cove without using a signal 100 ft before the turn.  Agents activated the emergency lights to affect a traffic stop with the vehicle stopping at Tate Cove Road.  Through field interviews, with the driver, agents learned through the driver's admission, Marijuana was in the car.  A search of the vehicle was conducted and agents located less than 14 grams of Marijuana. The driver who was identified as Issack Thomas, was issued a traffic summons for the traffic infraction and a criminal summons for 40:966 Possession of Marijuana, less than 14 grams.
