~NARCOTICS PRESS RELEASE JUNE 5TH

On June 5, 2024 after a Narcotic Investigations into the distribution of illegal narcotics, Agents with Evangeline Parish Sheriff Office along with Patrol Deputies executed a No-Knock Narcotic Search warrant at the residence of 513 East Street Mamou Louisiana 70554.  Upon the two occupants, Tammy Morrison and Adrien Robert detained, a search of the residents was conducted by Agents.   5 plastic baggies were located within the resident containing Methamphetamine weighing 26.9 grams, 4.1 grams, 5.5 grams, 2.7 grams, 1.6 grams, a digital scale, and a glass meth pipe. Also located in the bedroom to the left in a gray and black book sack in a black sock was a Clerke 1st .22 Revolver with 6 rounds total .22 Cal Bullets that was located within arm's reach of the computer desk. Located in a pair of black sweatpants in the bedroom to the right was 1.8 grams of Methamphetamine in a piece of plastic. Located in a cigarette pack in the living room was three smoked hand rolled cigarettes with a total of .6 grams of Marijuana.  Roberts stated that everything in the house was his property and that we found everything within the residence.  It was known, that Adrien Robert maintains criminal history with several charges for Simple Burglary, Theft, and Unauthorized use a Moveable.  Roberts has a conviction for Simple Burglary in 2010 in which he had 7 years of hard labor and 5 years of active supervised probation. A. Robert was probation period ended on 8/2015 for Simple Burglary and Theft under $300.

Adrien Robert was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent Distribute Methamphetamine, Possession of a Weapon in the Presence of Illegal Narcotics and Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon. Adrien Robert was issued a criminal citation for possession of Marijuana under 14 grams. (Citation Number 89058010)
