~NARCOTICE PRESS RELEASE~ COLLIN KING

On April 23, 2024, Narcotic Agents while conducting criminal patrol and speed control through radar, agents clocked a vehicle traveling South on Veterans Memorial at 65mph in a 55mph zone.  Agents initiated the emergency lights to affect a traffic stop.   Agents made contact with the driver identified as Collin King (35 yr old) of Lake Cove who was advised of the reason for the traffic stop.  During the field interview, King provided his driver's license, registration, and insurance and was then advised to exit the vehicle for a pat search for officer safety, due to King wearing a guilly suit.   During the pat down agents located .04 grams of methamphetamine.  Colling King was arrested and charged with 40:967 Possession of Methamphetamines CDS II.  King was also issued a traffic summons (89054008) for traffic offenses.
