NARCOTIC PRESS RELEASE: SHAUN AND BLAIR YOUNG

On January 24, 2025, Agents with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Office Criminal Patrol Narcotics Division, conducted a traffic stop of green in color Toyota Camry display switch license plates.   Contact was made with the two occupants of the vehicle.  The passenger was a 35-year-old black male who was identified as Blair Young and the driver of the vehicle, who was a 44-year-old black male, who was identified as Shaun Anthony Young.   Through field interviews and a brief investigation, a .380 ACP was located in the vehicle and was reported stolen.   The driver Shaun Young also had outstanding warrants through St. Landry Parish as well as illegal narcotics located within the vehicle.   The results were as follows. 

Shaun Anthony Young was arrested and charged with the following:

(1) Count of 40:967C Possession of Schedule II CDS (Amphetamines) 

(1) Count of 40:969C Possession of a Schedule IV (Alprazolam) 

 

Blair Young was arrested and charged with the following:
