NARCOTIC PRESS RELEASE ~ KYLE THOMPSON

On March 13, 2025, Narcotic Agents with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office assisted deputies with serving an immediate Eviction Notice to a 36-year-old white male identified as Kyle Thompson at 2897 George Soileau Road Basile, and the request for Narcotic agents was due to drug activity taken place within the residence.  Upon making contact with Thompson, agents learned marijuana was present in the house and were given permission to search the residence.  At this time a search of the residence was conducted.  Located were (2) two smoked hand-rolled cigarettes containing a total of .11 grams of Marijuana.  Located in a toy-like white glass cup with .45 grams of Methamphetamine, a baggie with a square piece of paper pink and green on one side and white on the other identified by Kyle Thompson as Acid (LSD), and a syringe with liquid in it that Kyle Thompson identified as Methamphetamine.  Also located in the drawer, was a baggie containing .40 grams of Methamphetamine, and several baggies of small pieces of used cotton balls commonly used when administering narcotics with a syringe and a glass meth pipe.   Also, during the pat search of Thompson, agents located a Space Club Super Lemon Haze THC Vape.  In the master bedroom in the closet in Kyle Thompson's shaving bag a small jar containing .92 grams of Methamphetamine was located along with a glass cylinder with what appeared to be Methamphetamine Residue also in the master bedroom on the bed was a Marijuana smoking device named brand OOZE. 

Kyle Thompson was arrested and charged with (1) Count of 40:967 Possession of Methamphetamines and (1) Count of 40:966 Possession of LSD.  Thompson was also given a Criminal Summons for 40:966 Possession of Marijuana, Less than 14 grams.
