~NARCOTIC PRESS RELEASE~ DUNIGAN JAGNEAUX AND AUCOIN

On July 9, 2024, Narcotic Agents were traveling north on Hwy 167 Criminal Patrol agents observed a motorcycle and a Dodge Durango behind the motorcycle and negotiated a left turn unto Rollins Road failing to utilize signal lights before and during the turn.   Agents activated the emergency lights to affect a traffic stop, and the vehicle (Dodge Durango) continued traveling south on Rollins Road until both the motorcycle and vehicle reached the address of 1126 Rollins Road, and turned into the driveway. The motorcycle attempted to hide by pulling on the south side of the trailer, agents identified the driver of the motorcycle as Jason Dunigan (46-year-old white male).   Jason Dunigan stated to the agent, that the black pack was in and that he set it down near the motorcycle.   Upon agents advising Dunigan of his Miranda Rights, agents asked Dunigan what was inside the backpack and Dunigan stated Methamphetamine and Marijuana.   The agent opened the zipper and located a piece of plastic containing 3.65 grams of Marijuana, another piece of plastic containing 1.86 grams of Methamphetamine, and a baggie with 3.19 grams of Methamphetamine.   Also located in the black book sack were a digital scale, and a metal marijuana grinder. Upon field interviews and searches of the vehicle, the driver, and passengers the results were as follows.


Jason Lyle Dunigan 46 of Ville Platte was arrested and charged with (1) Count of 40:9678A Possession/Distribution of Methamphetamine CDS Schedule II.


Trulie Lorraine Jagneaux 35  of Ville Platte was arrested and charged with (1) Count of 40:967A  Possession/Distribution of Methamphetamine CDS Schedule II


Kage Lane Aucoin 22 of Ville Platte was arrested and charged with 40:967A Possession/Distribution of Methamphetamine CDS Schedule II.


Driver K. Quinn was issued a traffic citation for driving under suspension, and failure to signal and advised that he could not drive the vehicle due to his suspended license.
Jason Dunigan was issued a Criminal Summons for 40:966C Possession of Marijuana, less than 14 grams, and issued Traffic Citations with (3) violations of Failure to Use Signal, No Insurance, and Suspended Drivers license, and the vehicle was towed.
