~NARCOTIC PRESS RELEASE~ BRIANNE HUDSON AND NICHOLAS DARBONNE
On July 12, 2024, Agents were advised of a suspicious vehicle parked in the store parking lot of Blue Junction located at the intersection of Hwy La. 29 and Hwy La 104 for approximately 30 minutes or more. Agent made contact with the male driver of the vehicle who was identified as Joshua Person by name and date of birth. Agents learned Person, the driver, maintained a Suspended License. The front passenger was identified as Nicholas Darbonne and the rear passenger was identified as Brianna Hudson. Through dispatch, agents became aware of the driver, a Person having an active warrant for traffic violations. Due to multiple subjects within the vehicle, the driver, Person was asked if his rear door could be opened so a clear view could be seen of all subjects in the vehicle to which he complied. For officer safety, the Person was detained and asked if any illegal narcotics were within the vehicle which he stated "not that he knew of" The person then gave voluntary verbal permission to search the vehicle. Agents advised all occupants to exit the vehicle. Upon all occupants being out and in the back of the vehicle, a pat search was conducted for officer safety. Agents asked Darbonne to take his belongings out of his pockets and place them on the hood of the vehicle which he complied. Agents asked Darbonne if he could go through his wallet and Darbonne complied by stating yes. Agents located a baggie containing 2.34 grams of methamphetamines and was placed in restraints and advised of his Miranda Rights. Due to narcotics being located, a search of the vehicle was conducted. Located in Brianna Hudson's purse in a makeup bag was a plastic baggie containing Methamphetamine weighing 0.63 grams of Methamphetamine and a glass meth smoking pipe. Located in an opened pad package within Hudson's backpack was a plastic baggie containing .45 grams of Methamphetamine and three pills with imprint T 30 identified as Sildenafil Citrate 100 mg. Once located B. Hudson was advised of narcotics being located. Hudson advised agents she possessed narcotics in her bra and a smoking glass pipe in her right shoe. Upon the arrival of a female agent, uncuffed Hudson to retrieve a piece of cellophane containing (3) round white pills with imprint RP b8 which was identified as Buprenorphine Hydrochloride (Sublingual), a baggie containing 1.84 grams of Methamphetamine, and another baggie containing 2.09 grams of Methamphetamine.
Brianne Hudson (30 years old) Ville Platte was arrested and charged with (1) Count 40:967A Possession with Intent to distribute Schedule II CDS Methamphetamine. (1) Count 40:968C Possession of Schedule III CDS) Suboxone.
Nicholas Jake Darbonne (38-year-old) Eunice was arrested and charged with (1) Count of 40:967A Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II CDS Methamphetamine.
