~NARCOTIC ARREST~ CHRISTIAN ROEL MONTES

On February 7, 2024 Narcotic Agents were patrolling La 29 Chataignier Road when they observed a vehicle bearing Louisiana specialized plate DW02413 swerving in and out of its lane of travel.  At that  time agents initiated emergency lights and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. When approaching the vehicle, agents smelled marijuana resonating from the vehicle.   Agents made contact with driver who was identified as Christian Montes and informed him the reason for the traffic stop.  K9 Diego was deployed and alerted to illegal narcotics on the driver's side of the vehicle.  Upon searching the vehicle, Narcotic Agents located 1.64 grams of Methamphetamines, .31 grams of cocaine and 3.11 grams of marijuana.

Christian Roel Montes was arrested and charged with (1) count of Possession of schedule II "Methamphetamines" and (1) Count of Possession of Schedule II Cocaine.  A criminal summon was issued for the Possession of Marijuana as well as a traffic citation of the traffic infraction.
