NARCOTIC ARREST BRIEFING ROBERT GOODWILL

Upon the completion of a Narcotic Investigation, on December 11, 2024 Narcotic Agents with Evangeline Parish Sheriff Office executed a No Knock Narcotic Search Warrant at 1312 9th Street Mamou, LA, the residence of a 36 year old black male, identified as Robert Goodwill. Upon arrival to the residence entry was made into the residence, Agents located Robert Goodwill in the back bedroom (Master Bedroom) Robert Goodwill was located and detained and advised of his Miranda Rights. 

 Upon completion of the search warrants, Agents located a green cigarette pack (LD brand) was located containing a plastic bag with 2.97 grams of Methamphetamine and 10 round pills of various colors identified as MDMA in the bathroom located next to the master bedroom. Also located was a glass bowl and a Pyrex measuring cup both with white residue, several spoons with white powder residue, a large bag of baking soda (commonly used for a cutting agent in the manufacture of Crack Cocaine), and several plastic bags with white residue.  In the cabinet above the sink area, Agents located a piece of cellophane with one blue MDMA pill and next to it was another MDMA pill (orange), next to the MDMA pills was 1.06 grams of Crack Cocaine (two rocks).  When searching Robert Goodwill's pockets a large amount of U.S. Currency was located a total of $1564.00 in various denominations.  

Robert Goodwill was arrested and charged with: 

(1)    1 Count 40:967C Possession of Methamphetamine, Schedule II

(2)    1 Count 40:967A Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II Cocaine 

(3)    1 Count of 40:967C Possession of Schedule II Crack Cocaine 

(4)    1 Count of 40:966A (MDMA) Possession with Intent to Distribute 

(5)    1 Count 40:1041 Transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses 

(6)     1 Count 14.91.13 Illegal Use of a Controlled Dangerous Substances in the Presence of a Person  Under the Seventeen Years of Age
