MORE JANUARY DRUG ARRESTS!

Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:

 On the 5th of January 2023 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department's Narcotics Unit, conducted a search warrant after receiving multiple complaints on Lester Street in Ville Platte. Agents entered the home and located illegal narcotics.

Possession with intent to distribute marijuana over 600 grams

 Also, on the 5th of January 2023 Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department's Narcotic Agents executed a search warrant on the Faubourg Road after receiving multiple complaints about this residence. Agents entered the residence and located illegal narcotics, and the following was charged.

 James Cy Guillory

Ville Platte, LA. 70586

He was charged with

Possession with intent to distribute marijuana

Possession of methamphetamine

Possession of a firearm in presence of CDS

Possession of schedule 4 narcotics 2 counts
