MAMOU AREA SEARCH WARRANT CONDUCTED!
Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:
On the 24th of March 2021, The Evangeline Parish Sheriffs Department in conjunction with the Mamou Police Department executed a search warrant, at a residence located at 2049 LD Verette road in the Mamou area. Deputies made entry into the residence and located a female who was taken into custody.
The deputies then searched the residence and found illegal narcotics and weapons. This led to the following actions.

LA:RS: 40:967. A Possession with intent to distribute Methamphetamine
LA:RS: 40:966 Possession of Marijuana
LA:RS: 40:969. A Possession with intent to distribute Tramadol
LA:RS: 40:968. A Possession with intent to distribute Anabolic Steroids
LA:RS: 40: 967.C Possession of Promethazine
LA:RS 40:1023 Possession of drug paraphernalia
LA:RS: 14:72.2 Monetary instrument abuse
LA:RS: 14:95. E Possession of a Firearm in the presence of a CDS
More arrest are pending from this search warrant.
