LAW ENFORCEMENT MULTI-JURISDICTION TEAM UP A HUGE SUCCESS!
Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotic Agents along with St. Landry Sherriff Narcotics, Opelousas Police Department Narcotics conducted a lengthy drug investigation. As a result, Evangeline Parish Narcotic Agents and Allen Parish SWAT conducted several search warrants. Upon completion of the multi-jurisdictional investigation this led to the seizure of approximately (2.2 lbs.) of Methamphetamines, (6) Marijuana Plants, and $ 13,300 dollars in US Currency. Arrest warrants were secured for the following:
Brandon Deshotel 29 of Ville Platte was charged with, 40:967 Possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, 14.26-40:967 Conspiracy to Distribute Schedule II Methamphetamines, 40:1041Transactions involving proceeds from Drug Offenses and 40:966 c, Possession of Schedule I Synthetic Marijuana.
Jordan Lafleur was charged with 40:966 Cultivation of Marijuana, 40:1041 Transactions involving Drug Proceeds and 14.26-40:967 Conspiracy to Distribute Schedule II Methamphetamines.
Dustin Sidwell 37 of Mamou was charged with 40:967 Possession of Schedule II Methamphetamines, 14.26-40:967 Conspiracy to Distribute Schedule II Methamphetamines.
