Information from Concerned Citizen Leads to Arrest!
Sheriff Charles R Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office has released the following:
On Tuesday, December 22, 2020, Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigators received valuable information from a concerned citizen in reference to ATV riding in the neighborhoods of Belaire Cove.
The information later led to one arrest and the recovery of a stolen ATV. After further investigation it was learned the arrested was involved in the burglary of a dirt bike back in August. The dirt bike had been sold and was recovered at Rolls Cycle Inc in Lafayette. The ATV and dirt bike were returned to their rightful owners.
