ILLEGAL NACORTICS FOUND DURING SEARCH!
Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:
On the 9th of February The Evangeline Parish Sheriffs Departments Criminal Patrol Unit, conducted a traffic stop on vehicle. While deputies were speaking to the occupants, they noticed a overwhelming smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The deputies removed them and conducted a search. The passenger was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics which led to the following actions.

LA:RS: 40:966.C Possession of synthetic marijuana
LA:RS: 40:967 Possession of methamphetamine
