HEROIN, METHAMPHETAMINE, AND FENTANYL DRUG ARRESTS!
Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:
On the 2nd of May 2023 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department's Narcotics Unit conducted a check on a vehicle parked at a business located in Point Blue. Upon coming into contact with the occupants, Agents could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle. Agents then conducted a probable cause search and located illegal narcotics.

Bond set at $8,000.00
On the 3rd of May 2023 Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department's Narcotics units stopped a vehicle on Carbon Loop Road. Agents made contact with driver who was acting extremely nervous. K-9 Diego arrived on scene and conducted a search of the outside of the vehicle and returned a positive alert. Agents then conducted a search and located illegal narcotics.

Also, on the 3rd of May 2023 Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department's Narcotics Unit stopped a vehicle on Pine Point Road. Upon coming into contact with the driver probable cause was established and a search of the vehicle was conducted and illegal narcotics were located.
