FOUR ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION!
Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:
On the 7th of January 2021 The Evangeline Parish Criminal Patrol Unit along with The Mamou Police Department, arrested two more individuals for warrants. These warrants are from a two month long undercover drug buy operation, conducted by both agencies.
Joseph Lefleur

Ville Platte, LA.70586
W/M Age 46
He was charged with
LA: RS: 40:967. A.1 Distribution of methamphetamine.
- RS: 40:967.C Possession of methamphetamine
Once Mr. Lefleur was arrested agents located more methamphetamine on his person which led to an additional charge.
Also, on January 7th 2021 The Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department and the Mamou Police Department, located and arrested.
Mitchell Paul Guidry
1356 Reeton School road
Mamou, LA. 70586
W/M Age 35
He was charged with
RS: 40:966. A.1 Distribution of marijuana
Mr. Guidry was also in possession of marijuana at the time of his arrest. He was cited and released for that violation.
While Deputies and Mamou officers were looking for these subjects, they stopped a truck on the Lans Meg road at Birch street for a traffic violation. When deputies made contact with the driver, they were advised he had active warrants. Deputies took him into custody and located methamphetamine and ecstasy on his person.

B/M Age 30
He was charged with
LA:RS: 40:967 Possession of methamphetamine
LA:RS: 40:966.C Possession of ecstasy
He also had three outstanding warrants.
Sheriff Deputies and Mamou Police officers also received information that a subject was in possession of narcotics. Agents went to a residence on East street in Mamou and made contact with him. When agents were speaking to him, he admitted to being in possession of methamphetamine. Agents seized the narcotics.

He was charged with

He also had an outstanding warrant.
