EVANGELINE PARISH SHERIFF'S OFFICE INVESTIGATION LEADS TO FUGITIVE ARREST
Sheriff Eddie Soileau, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office has released the following:
On Monday, October 21, 2019 Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office Investigator Detective Tyla Godeaux was actively investigating recently reported ATV/4 wheeler thefts when he learned one of his persons of interest was wanted by the Eunice Police Department from an anonymous caller.
After verification, Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office Investigations along with Patrol Divisions teamed up with several Eunice Police Officers and executed a Search Warrant for the body of Daniel Breaux and any ATV/4 wheelers reported stolen on property.
The Search Warrant returned the body of one Daniel Breaux for Eunice Police Department. After a thorough search of the property there were no stolen items located.
