EPSO AND MAMOU PD RECOVER STOLEN ITEM!

Detectives Recover Stolen Generator - Suspect Charged Sheriff Charles R Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office has released the following:

On Thursday, January 7, 2021 Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office charges an individual with Possession of Stolen Things.     

EPSO Criminal Investigations Division recently received valuable information from Chief Brent Zachary and the Mamou Police Department. The information led to the recovery of a stolen Bobcat Generator belonging to the Evangeline Parish Police Jury. The generator was stolen from the Police Jury yard in Mamou.

This incident is still under investigations.

Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office would like to thank Chief Brent Zackary and the Mamou Police Department for their assistance.

Any person reporting information will remain anonymous.

 Kasey Chapman is currently being held at the Eunice City Jail on charges not related to this incident.
