DIEGO DOES IT AGAIN!!

Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:

 On June 1st 2023 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department Narcotics' Unit conducted a traffic stop. Agents made contact with the driver and advised of the reason for the stop. The driver was very nervous and jittery. Agents called for K-9 Diego who contact a free air sniff of the vehicle and indicated a positive alert. The vehicle was then searched and illegal narcotics were located.

Possession of Methamphetamine

Possession of Fentanyl

Bond was set at $ 125.000.00

 Also, on the 1st of July 2023 Evangeline Parish Sheriff Narcotics agents stopped a vehicle in the Redell area. Agents made contact with the driver who was extremely nervous and a odor of Marijuana was coming from the vehicle. Agents conducted a search of the vehicle and located narcotics.

Possession of Heroin

And cited for possession of Marijuana.
