CRIMINAL PATROL CLEANING THE STREETS!
Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:
On the 1st of June 2021 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Departments Criminal Patrol Unit, conducted a traffic stop on Tate Cove Road. The Deputies made contact with the driver and advised of the reason for the stop. The driver was extremely nervous, and after a short interview, he admitted to having Marijuana in the car. The following action occurred.

Also, on June 1st 2021 Criminal Patrol Deputies stopped a truck on LA. Hwy 13, for traffic violations.
When they made contact with the driver, they could smell Marijuana. Deputies conducted a search of the truck and the following actions occurred.

Later on, the 1st of July 2021 Criminal Patrol Agents stopped a car on LA. Hwy 13 for a traffic violation. The driver of the car threw a bag on the ground when exiting his car. Deputies retrieved the bag containing narcotics. The following actions then occurred.

On the 4th of June 2021 Deputies with Evangeline Parish Department, in conjunction with the Mamou Police Department, executed a search warrant on a residence located at 1509 Jamie Street in Mamou. Upon entering the residence agents found various amounts of narcotics and U S currency.
This led to the following actions.

On the 6th of June 2021 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Departments Criminal Patrol Division, stopped a car for a traffic violation. The Deputies made contact with the occupants and noticed some indicators, that suggested there may be illegal narcotics in the vehicle. Deputies conducted an interview and received permission to search the car. This led to the following people being arrested.
