CRIMINAL PATROL 2021!
Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:
On the 2nd of January 2021 The Evangeline Parish Departments Criminal patrol unit was patrolling in the Basile area. Deputies were watching two male subjects passing a lit hand rolled cigarette. Deputies made contact with subjects and located marijuana and crystal methamphetamine on one of the subjects.

LA:RS: 40:966.C Possession of marijuana
LA:RS: 40:967. A.1 Possession of Methamphetamine
LA:RS: 40:1023 Possession of drug paraphernalia
