~ ARREST BRIEFING ~ JORDAN VIDRINE

On June 12, 2024, the Criminal Investigations Division with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office was informed of a sexual assault between an uncle and his ten year-old niece, which took place approximately one year ago. Upon completion of the investigation, it was learned by detectives that there had been inappropriate sexual behavior between the uncle and his juvenile niece for approximately two years.

During interviews, along with other evidence obtained, detectives obtained an arrest for Jordan Vidrine for five counts of First Degree Rape, five counts of Oral Sexual Battery, and five counts of Indecent Behavior with Juveniles.

On June 24, 2024, Jordan Cheyenne Vidrine (26-year-old White Male) was placed under arrest with the assistance of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. Sheriff Charles Guillory thoroughly appreciates the assistance in his capture. The suspect is currently booked in the Evangeline Parish Jail and being held without bond.
