ARREST BRIEFING ALISHA HOWELL

On November 22, 2024, Deputies received a report of a stolen firearm.  Upon arrival, Deputies with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office learned that the suspect entered a residence on Bond Rd. During that time, she asked the victim to loan her some money.  When the victim refused her request, she obtained his .357, told the victim she was leaving with it, and never returned.  

Upon further investigation, Detectives were able to establish enough information to issue an arrest warrant for the suspect.  On December 20, 2024, the suspect (Alisha Howell) was booked into the Evangeline Parish Jail for theft of a firearm. Her bond was set at $35,000.00.
