On April 26, 2024 the Sheriff, Charles R. Guillory, donated two Evangeline Parish Units to the City of Melville.  One will go to the Police Department and the other will be used by the Fire Department.  Chief of Police, Phillip Lucas, and Fire Chief, Cole Ponthieux, came this pass Friday to pick up the units.  They were very grateful for the donation.   Pictured below is Sheriff Guillory donating the units to Chief Lucas and Chief Ponthieux of Melville.  Sheriff Guillory stated that he was happy knowing these units are much needed.
